OH God! Were surrounded!!!
I went to an early dinner tonight at a middle eastern cafe. Great meal! Great atmosphere! But one thing stuck out. In the spirit of ignorance and unfounded, completely false facts...
If you eat middle eastern food, you are supporting terrorism!! Hummice, tibouli, pita bread and the like are all foods that come from the middle eastern Arab countries! And as everyone knows all Arabs are Muslims and Muslims hate Americans and want to kill all of us!!! Help stop terrorism in it's tracks by banning all these Muslim terrorist sleeper cells that are masquerading as decent restaurants. Poisoning our youth with their falafel ways and their baclava dreams! Muslims areteying to kill he by poisoning us with their wonderful tasting foods, but next it will be their clothes, then their women then before you know it we'll all be eating a "camel rider deluxe" at Mac Arabs' and wondering what happened to OUR peaceful nation!!! Fight Fight Fight! And god help us all!

Hello my friends and anyone else who stumbles across my blog. In these turbulent times dealing with everything from terrorism to racism and recession to religious persecution, I know that people are quick to jump to conclusions based off of one source's information. The problem with doing that is that the source in any given situation is fallible. There is not one person who can say that they are 100% correct about every ounce of information that springs from them, and it is because of that, and the mass of society's willingness to believe emphatically the news they hear, that we are dealing with such big problems and can see no mutually beneficial cure. The blurb that follows is an email that my good friend got on myspace written by one of her acquaintances. I will not name names I just feel that it is necessary to show people how rash and incorrect they can be when they don't look at the bigger picture. I was raised to look at any problem or situation from all sides, then make an educated decision of how to go forward based on all the information. Now I am not very political and I dont know half as much about the current presidential nominees as a 13 year old in middle school. But I do know that neither would have made it as far as they have in the race if information such as this below were true.
This person who wrote this said "do your homework people" and "this is not about politics, its about religion". The problem here is again she did not do her homework, She did not keep an open mind and she did not base her beliefs off of valid or reasonable information. This is about politics! religion should have nothing to do with the presidential race as far as I'm concerned because religion has caused more wars, more death and more hurt than any other source in history. If you believe that Religion and Government should be joined together, then you do not believe in the fundamental foundation that this country was based on. Do not call yourself an American and then persecute someone for believeing in a different god, or for not believeing in one at all. The freedoms of choice, religion and of prosperity without condemnation is why our forefathers rebeled against the English rule and came to America. At the time it was so they could openly practice Christianity. But when men far greater, smarter and with more foresight than the above average person now a days, created the Constitution of the United States, they saw fit to allow others to practice a religion that they themselves did not agree with, and thus an open door society. It hasn't worked out perfectly over the years, but it is evolving and we as a people are growing, however to grow beyond the confines of our own limitations we must step outside of ourselves and see the bigger picture and not how it affects just us, but everyone included. And realize that there is not a single person out there who is exactly the sdame as you, so no one solution is the answer. Rascim, bigotry, sexism and religious segregation is not gone, it is a major plague within our borders, and its up to us to be the ones to realize that we are involved in it and only we can break down the walls of ignorance that keep these things alive.
The blurb above is "all about religion" and it screams that "Muslims are terrorists!" And "All Muslims want to kill Americans!" But in her own statement she said that Barrak Husain Obama is an, and I quote, "Muslim American". By by her own justification the Muslims, who are ALL terrorists, want to kill ALL Americans, which includes themselves. I have not had the pleasure of meeting any Muslim Americans myself, so I do not know, or understand thier beliefs on god, But I do know from people I can trust and multiple credible sources that the Muslim religion is not synonomys with terrorism. It is we the people of ignorance, out of fear and intollerance that have deemed it so.

Traffic
Todays traffic is brought to you by the letters F, U, C, K and the continued "support" of assholes like you!
Waiting for new toys.... It's a mind killer!!!
So, I bought a few things online recently. I got both Items on the same day, which was last Friday evening. The first of them is going to arrive today, and I am very excited but the anticipation coupled with my mild lack of patience has me going stir crazy in wait.
Also I just got a text from apple the other day saying that my iPhone 3g wall charger is defective and I need to stop using it immediately. I went to the website and it said I needed to take my old one up to the apple store and they will swap it out for me. Now here is where I REALLY need to learn to call ahead. I live 9.4 miles from the apple store according to google maps. My 1999 Dodge Ram Magnum Sport 4x4 gets about 12 mi to the gallon now that I have changed my driving habits. However in the roughly 20 mile excursion to and from the mac store I use about a quarter of a tank. I have not figgured out exactly how this works out ligically yet, though I do have a team of qualified scientists crunching numbers as we speak. So I dont like going out there because it costs a pretty penny. Problem, I don't want my brand new iPhone to be bricked so I make the trek.
I get there, walk in tell the guy I need a new plug and we are off and running with 100% confidince that today is a good day. Guy dissapears behind the door of infinite secrets and two minutes later walks back out with my bad plug in hand and a somber look on his face. They are out of plugs. iPhone gods be damned! they are out and I am made to suffer the wrath of brickerdom if I want to charge my phone away from my computer. My only other option is to go online and have them mail me a replacement which should also be arriving today. Lets hope...
Back to my toys.... So I am a photographer and I love to get new hotness for my baby. I have a Canon Digital Rebel xti and the only card I have for it is an old San Disk Ultra II 2Gb compact flash card.
Its good for shooting about 160 shots in Raw format. This is not generally a problem, except that in the past few months I have been on a few shoots where I blow through the card and then I have to stop shooting and take about 10 -
15 minutes to download the images to my computer so I can shoot some more. Another problem is that most of these shoots have been outside with no source of power, so once the laptop battery is down I am S.O.L. . Well thank to my friends over at B&H Photo Video, I have procured two count them TWO San Disk 8Gb Extreme III compact flash cards.
So not only will the cards now keep up with my camera but I can shoot four times as much then swap the cards and keep shooting without having to stop. YAY!! Best part of all? San Disk has a rebate deal so when you buy one card you get $40 back, with two cards you get $100 back. I only paid $132 bucks for the cards, so after the rebate they will have only cost me $30 bucks!!!!! I am so happy. Now I'll have a C note to buy some more goodies for my baby!!!

I have always wanted to play around with one, and see if it is useful for my needs. But I don't know anyone who has one. Also, I do not want to drop $450 bones on one just to find out that it is going to serve as a really expensive mouse. After contacting all of my friends who might have or know someone who has one, I was left with no luck and bruised knees from begging and praying that one fall from the sky. Then to my chagrin! Avast I log onto Ye Good 'Ol internets and I find a tablet on sale for a measly $35. I don't know how my money got the measles but I spent it so it's no longer my problem!!! I cannot wait for this to come in so I can be Amazed or disappointed with it. Either way it will be an interesting experience.

GHAaAAAAAaaAGH!!!!!!!!!!!
I have spent the last two hours trying to fighure out the manual
settings for my new AT&T wireless of card. So far, no luck. I am going
a little crazy since the art tech support guy told me to delete the
software, then when his directions didn't work told me to reinstall
it. Only problem is I don't have the software. It installs from online
and thus I cannot get it because I cannot go on the fucking
Internet!!! No wifi around here either since I'm working in a hotel at
the moment!!

DR. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
This is INCREDIBLE!
If you love Superheros or Super Villains, you must watch this! Neil Patrick Harris plays Dr. Horrible, a young villain trying to get into the League of Evil. A man conflicted with love for a woman(Felicia Day) he's never talked to (very high school crush), and disdain for the "hero" (Nathan Fillion) that prevents him from attaining his goals of world domination.
The three part film short is written and directed by Joss Whedon, Joss’ brothers Zack and Jed and Jed’s Fiancé Maurissa Tancharoen. You may know some of the shows Joss Whedon has created in the past, Buffy, Angel and the Scifi masterpiece Firefly. But enough of my raving! here's the video!

An incomprehensable lack of passion
So My good friend Jamie showed me this video online and immediately following it, the only thought in my head was, Jesus this guy is amazing, and I have never had an original thought in my life!
I am a ROBOT! I live and breath according to the rules laid forth by THE MAN, and though I am constantly trying to see outside the box, the only thing I can see is the tape holding it closed!
I need some matches and gasoline so I can burn this box down!

Lets Begin,
To start, I am a 28 year old Northern California guy who's been uprooted, thrown around and finally settled in Jacksonville, FL. I enjoy my job working for an event supply and design company which I am paid well for. I am trying to go back to school to get a degree in Bio-mechanical Engineering. I am a photographer and am fairly artistic though often lack inspiration in this podunk town they call a city. I also enjoy making music, whether it be playing guitar, drums or keyboard, or mixing electronic music on the computer.
